The tablet market may be currently dominated by the Apple iPad. But with the arrival of a bunch of other tablet PC’s coming from different manufacturers, it might be a whole new ballgame next year. One of the newer tablets that aim to challenge the iPad dominance is the Netbook Navigator NAV 7 Slate PC Tablet.
With features for that generic tablet not fully established quite yet, many makers are trying to experiment with different design features that may someday be hoped to be the accepted standard. And in the case of the new Netbook Navigator NAV 7, this tablet sports a smaller 7-inch multi-touch display capable of providing a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
It is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor and will run on the Windows 7 OS. Other features include 1GB of RAM, 16GB SSD, WiFi, Bluetooth along with an optional 3G broadband.
There are around 30 different configurations that consumers may be able to device for the Netbook Navigator NAV 7 Tablet. But the basic unit price may start at US$649. This new tablet PC is expected to ship by May of this year.
